IPL 2024 Schedule Announcement Live: We are very close to get a first look at the Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule for the 2024 season. The IPL 2024 schedule is expected to come out at 5 PM IST and will be broadcast live on Star Sports Network TV Channels and live streamed on JioCinema app and website. The delay in IPL 2024 schedule announcement has been caused due to the General Elections which will also be conducted during the same time. The IPL 2024 schedule will be released in three parts, it has been reported and the first part will come out on Thursday which is expected to cover first two weeks of the tournament that is expected to start on 22 March. The final of IPL 2024 could take place on 26 May.

The remaining and final schedule for IPL 2024 will only come out after BCCI gets the final approval from the Indian government and the Election Commission announce the General Elections dates.  The IPL 2024 will be having 74 matches and is expected to run over 67 days. IN 2023, IPL was dine and dusted in 60 days, but extra seven days have been accounted this time around due to the General Elections.

It has been reported that the IPL 2024 will start with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on 22 March. CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan has also revealed that their will be an opening ceremony ahead of the IPL 2024 opener.
