Ram Mandir Opening Ceremony News LIVE: With the seven-day rituals of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Mandir (राम मंदिर) underway in Ayodhya, the idol of Ram Lalla will be brought inside the temple structure today (Wednesday, January 17), a day before it is placed in the sanctum sanctorum on January 18. The main inaugural ceremony of the grand temple is scheduled to be held between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm on January 22, but the rituals leading up to the culminating event have begun on January 16.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat sharing dais along with several other dignitaries.
Over 7,000 people have been invited by the temple trust and they include cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, and industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
